Mu has only herself to blame. She drifted to the inside and that caused her left foot to catch on Raevyn Rogers' right leg. Rogers was just holding her position. Mu tripped herself.

The time she lost made no difference when she crossed the line in 60sec. She ran a 2:19 800 and that is why she lost. Something is weird here

Mu went to the front of a bunched pack and slowed GUARANTEEING TO BE CLIPPED BY THE WOMAN BEHIND. To make matters worse, she was in the process of moving to the inside lane, which further reduced her speed. A fall was inevitable, and sadly the right person fell. It would have been tragic if another woman fell after pulling that maneuver. THIS WAS THE BEST RESULT CONSIDERING! Don't take anything away from the three awesome women who ran two 1:58's and a 1:57.

I am a huge fan of Athing Mu from several yeras ago, but I truly believe Athing Mu would come back stronger. Injuries and not being able to race takes a toll, so in a way, somehting like this happening is not surprising. I am going to cheer all my heart for the teams who are heading to Paris, but want to tell Athing Mu that you are my hero and stage is set for the next!!

Literally the reverse happened in 2021 to Athing Mu and Nia Atkins omgosh call it karma call it, call it the luck or whatever you may this is crushing. Whatever you want to to call it omgosh this is heartbreaking.
